An 80-year-old Oxford man died at the scene of an accident early Thursday morning in Sumter County.
Fermin Calvin Rayborn had been driving a 2001 Buick LeSabre at 12:15 a.m. northbound on County Road 475 and failed to property negotiate a curve south of County Road 245E, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Rayborn suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene of the crash.
He had not been wearing a seatbelt, the report noted.
