An intoxicated man in possession of a knife, shotgun and handgun was arrested Wednesday evening at the Lady Lake Post Office.

Lady Lake police at 6:46 p.m. received a complaint of a reckless driver in a white pickup towing a boat at the post office at 850 Teague Trail. When police arrived, they found Justin Tyler Kress, 24, of Apopka, walking around the truck with a large knife in a sheath on his hip, according to an arrest report. Kress had bloodshoot eyes and slurred speech. He began to yell and became uncooperative and was placed under arrest on a charge of disorderly intoxication. When he was placed in the backseat of a patrol car, Kress began banging his head against the window bars. Police conducted an inventory of the truck and found a 20-gauge shotgun, a Taurus semi-automatic pistol, a pipe for smoking marijuana and a Mason jar containing marijuana.

Kress was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $3,500 bond.
