A driver with multiple suspensions of his driver’s license told a police officer he was back behind the wheel because he had some things he “needed to get done.”
Jevon Allan Coy, 41, had been spotted driving a white Ford Expedition on Saturday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 and a police officer initiated a traffic stop at the parking lot of Taco Bell on Bichara Boulevard in The Villages.
The officer discovered that Coy had four convictions for driving while license suspended.
Coy told the officer he knew his license was suspended but said that he had some things that he “needed to get done.”
He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $10,000 bond.
Coy had been arrested last year on a charge of driving under the influence. You can read more about that arrest HERE
