A 47-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested Sunday after he was caught driving while his license was suspended.
A Lake County sheriff’s deputy who was familiar with Jason A. Altaffer, spotted him driving a gold colored Jeep at about 6 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Hwy. 27/441, according to an arrest affidavit. The deputy was aware that Altaffer had been arrested in February on a charge of driving under the influence and had refused to submit to a breath test at that time.
Altaffer was arrested on a charge of driving while license suspended. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $10,000.
