A judge has refused to release a student accused of plotting a Columbine-style shooting at the Villages Charter School.
Zachary Shearon, 13, will continue to be held in a juvenile detention center as a result of the judge’s ruling on Monday. He is facing a charge of conspiracy to commit premeditated murder.
Shearon and fellow student, 14-year-old Richard Hummer, were arrested after the plot was foiled in January. You can read more about it HERE
Hummer has since been sentenced to probation.
