A Villager’s car was vandalized while parked at Holiday Inn Express on Avenida Central in The Villages.
The 72-year-old Villager who owns the 2016 Nissan Rogue checked into the hotel on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday morning, he discovered scratches on the passenger side of his vehicle. The scratches looked like key marks, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
Damage was estimated at $500.
