Man jailed, woman taken to hospital after fight over bottle of Bacardi at apartment

A 52-year-old man was arrested and a woman was transported to The Villages Regional Hospital on Wednesday after an altercation over a bottle of Bacardi rum.

Lady Lake police were called to the Quarters Apartments where a woman suffered a black eye. She appeared to be intoxicated and was transported to the hospital.

Taken into custody was Robert Splain Isherwood, who lists an address of 935 Chula Court in The Villages, on a charge of domestic battery. He was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $10,000 bond.
