An estranged husband has filed for an injunction for protection against domestic violence against his wife who allegedly rammed his lady friend’s vehicle last month.

Laura Dawn High, 32, of Lady Lake, remains free on $5,000 bond following her arrest on charges of criminal mischief, battery, possession of Oxycodone and resisting arrest last month.

She had used a key to make a late-night entry to the home she had shared with her husband in the Sunshine Mobile Home Park in Lady Lake, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

High reportedly had been driving past the home and noticed an unfamiliar car parked there. High, who has been staying with a friend, woke up her husband and threw a half full can of beer at his lady friend, hitting her in the nose and mouth. When the woman attempted to leave in her car, High blocked her vehicle with her own. High then proceeded to ram the other woman’s car before driving away. During a traffic stop, High was found to be in possession of Oxycodone and she resisted arrest.

Her husband has since filed for an injunction for protection against domestic violence. An injunction hearing is scheduled for Tuesday in Lake County Court.

Eighteen days after her arrest, High filed for divorce from her husband.
