A Wawa convenience store could be coming to the intersection of County Road 466 and U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake.

The Lady Lake Commission will consider the proposed Wawa in a special session set for 5:15 p.m. Monday at Lady Lake Town Hall.

The proposed 6,119-square-foot building on 1.73 acres would be located at the southwest corner of the intersection.

The proposed convenience store would replace the nursery on the corner, the art and framing shop and the Affordable Lock and Security building (which looks like a castle) on Old Dixie Highway and the old Isom’s Towing Storage lot.

If this planned Wawa wins approval and moves forward, Wawa would bookend County Road 466. Wildwood has already approved a Wawa convenience store at County Road 466 and U.S. 301.
