Kennedy Aguirresaenz, 49, of Leesburg, had been speeding on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 at about 2 a.m., according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

When a police officer asked Aguirresaenz if he had been drinking, he replied, “Yeah, I had a couple,” the arrest report said. He told the police officer he had come from work at Katie Belle’s at Spanish Springs Town Square.

“It should be noted the driver was in his Katie Belle’s work uniform, but the business closes at approximately 2100 hours,” the arresting officer wrote in his report.

Turns out he had been drinking somewhere else. You can read more about the original arrest HERE

Aguirresaenz failed field sobriety exercises and provided breath samples that registered .138 and .151 blood alcohol content.

This past week in Lake County Court, Aguirresaenz was sentenced to one year’s probation in the case. He will lose his driver’s license for six months and has been ordered to perform 50 hours of community service. He has been ordered not to possess or consume alcohol and must attend DUI school.
