A 27-year-old woman was arrested at a home in Harbor Hills after a fight with the father of her baby over his new lady friend.
Jessica G. Jay was arrested at 12:41 p.m. Sunday by Lake County sheriff’s deputies at a home at 5425 Sandy Hill Lane.
The woman who lives there said she has been allowing her son, Jay and their baby to live with her until they get back on their feet. Her son and Jay are no longer “together,” according to the arrest report.
The woman said her son and Jay “always argue very bad” and it has been getting worse. Sunday’s argument started because the son had a new lady friend over to the house and Jay was upset because they had been in a room together.
During the argument, Jay had started “to make fun of his manhood” and call him names, he told deputies. She then slapped him and pulled his hair as he held the baby. His mother took photos of his face and showed the photos to the deputies.
Jay was arrested on a charge of simple domestic battery and booked at the Lake County Jail.
