42-year-old resident of Village of Belvedere arrested at Pimlico Recreation Center

A 42-year-old resident of Village of Belvedere was arrested Monday night at the Pimlico Recreation Center.

A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy was dispatched at 7:20 p.m. to the recreation center to a report of a woman either sleeping or passed out in a black Honda Civic. The deputy found Michelle Meredith Koller who said she had consumed a bottle of wine, according to an arrest report.

She failed field sobriety exercises and refused to provide a breath sample.

She was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $1,000 bond.
