A 45-year-old Villages of Parkwood man landed back behind bars Tuesday about a month after his arrest after allegedly climbing into bed with a sleeping woman.
Chad Michael Broy was arrested by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies on a warrant charging him with disorderly conduct. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.
Broy had been arrested June 29 by Wildwood police on charges of battery, burglary and grand theft. Broy allegedly entered the woman’s home in the Villages of Parkwood, got into bed with her and told her she was beautiful multiple times, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. When the woman woke up, she ordered Broy out of the home and ran to her son’s bedroom where she called 911. Broy then went downstairs and took $190 in cash off the kitchen table before leaving the home, the report said. He was then found by police and taken into custody.
