A 35-year-old man who lives in the Village of Belvedere was arrested on a charge of marijuana possession after a traffic stop Tuesday night on County Road 466.
Ronald Edward Blue had been driving a 2006 Ford van at about 8 p.m. Tuesday when a Lady Lake police officer noticed the decal on his license plate had expired. During a traffic stop, an officer detected the smell of marijuana coming from the van. Marijuana was discovered in three small clear baggies that weighed 14.2 grams.
He was issued a notice to appear in court on Aug. 22 to answer to the marijuana possession charge. He was also cited for having an expired license plate.
