To the Editor:
On the night Irma struck The Villages, I tuned into AM-640 WVLG.
I was disappointed to find only music playing. I was going to voice my opinion at the time, however I cooled off and let it go. In today’s Daily Sun on the back of the classified section I saw a half page article saying “Looking for the latest weather information tune in to AM-640 WVLG.”
Bad feelings erupted again. When the station had an opportunity to step up and hit a home run and provide a much needed service for our town to keep us informed, they struck out.
For myself, although I like the music WVLG plays I will no longer be tuning in.
