A citizen’s tip led to a major drug arrest and the discovery of over $48,000 worth of street drugs on Friday in Ocala.

The Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team received a tip regarding perceived drug dealing activity at 4225 NE 25th Ave., according to a media release. Agents conducted an undercover drug purchase at the home and carried out a search warrant, the report stated.
The search warrant led to the discovery of 860 grams of THC, 35 grams of marijuana, two grams of cocaine, five grams of mushrooms, 17 Alprazolam pills, two Hydrocodone pills, 100 items of paraphernalia, one Remington model 870 12 gage shotgun with a pistol grip and $1,381 in U.S. currency.


The value of street drugs seized was worth $48, 210.
Richard Kwasniewski, 30. was arrested on charges of firearm during commission of felony, possessions of cocaine, marijuana and THC with intent to distribute, possession of narcotics and possession of a new legend drug.
