A woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to steal jewelry at Beall’s on Tuesday in Ocala.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to the Beall’s located at 9598 SW 114th St. in reference to theft, according to an arrest report. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the store’s loss prevention team. One loss prevention officer stated that he observed 26-year-old Stephanie A. Sullivan of Beverly Hills place several items in her cart while on the sales floor, the report stated. The officer then observed Sullivan circle around the store and head toward the exit where she passed all points of sale without the intent of paying for the merchandise. He then stopped Sullivan and detained her until deputies arrived. Sullivan had a yellow bracelet valued at $22, a yellow necklace valued at $28, and other miscellaneous tools valued at $39.

Sullivan was placed under arrest and transported to Marion County Jail Bond was set at $500.
