Donald Patrick Hallisey, 91, of The Villages, FL, passed away on February 2, 2018, at Prestige Manor Assisted Living Center in Belleview, Florida.
He was born January 9, 1927 in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. Don graduated from the University of Michigan in 1951. He retired in the 80’s as Vice President of the Carl Company group of stores in Schenectady, NY. He sat on many boards and was a business leader for decades. Don was an avid golfer and a fine ballroom dancer.
Don is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Dennis Hallisey, sons Mark (Suzanne) and John Hallisey, daughter Karen Hallisey Scales (Ted) and grandchildren Ryan, Crystal, Charlie, Jack and Nicole. He was predeceased by his son Kevin.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 6th at 2 p.m. at Beyers Funeral Home, 134 N Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake, Florida 32159. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m.
