A man who reportedly mixed booze and morphine was arrested after allegedly attacking his live-in girlfriend at their home in Harbor Hills.
Lake County sheriff’s deputies were called at 9:51 p.m. Sunday to a home on Grove Manor where a woman locked herself in a room to protect herself from 40-year-old Marc Tetlow, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman told deputies that Tetlow had been out drinking and that he often mixes alcohol with morphine which makes him violent. She said he had been throwing her belongings all over the bedroom. He then threw her against a door, the door flew open and she struck a table.
He left, but then called her repeatedly and said he would not come home because he knew he would go to jail. Several minutes later, he showed up and was taken into custody on a charge of domestic battery.
He was booked at the Lake County Jail on $5,000 bond. Â
