A woman with marijuana tucked in her underwear was arrested after a traffic stop at a Circle K in The Villages.
Samantha Cheyenne Baker, 23, had been riding as a passenger Sunday morning in a pickup truck pulling a trailer which was stopped for a defective brake light, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. A traffic stop was made at the Circle K at 1527 Buenos Aires Blvd.
Baker presented the deputy with an Indiana identification card. It was determined that Baker was wanted on a Lake County warrant charging her with marijuana possession.
When she arrived for processing at the Sumter County Detention Center, Baker admitted she had marijuana concealed in her underwear.
She was arrested on an additional charge of marijuana possession. She was released after posting $3,000 bond.
