Dorothy L. Thompson, 80, of Fruitland Park, FL, passed away on February 12, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 6, 1937 to William James and Dorothy (Lewis) Goward.
She moved from Inkster, MI in 1990 to Fruitland Park. Dorothy was a retired legal secretary. She enjoyed playing the organ and was also a water aerobics instructor.
Survivors include a son- Jeffery A. Thompson of Dearborn Heights, MI, a sister, Margaret E. Aniol of Fruitland Park, FL, and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Thompson, and two brothers- William and Dennis Goward.
