Lavonne Lewis (nee: Ramus), 77, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her residence. Born on August 21, 1940 in Lu Verne, Iowa to the proud parents of Velma & Orval Ramus.
Lavonne graduated from Ft. Dodge Senior High School in 1959. In December 1959, she married Ken Lewis. Later in life, she attended and graduated from Northeast Missouri State, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and went on to be the Midwest Education Coordinator for IBM. She also was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Summerfield, FL.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 58 years, Ken Lewis; her daughters: Kim Gasapovich & Shari Danford; her son, Todd Lewis and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 17330 US Hwy. 441, Summerfield, FL 34491 with a luncheon reception to follow at church.
