John S. Stroney

It is with great celebration that the families of John S. Stroney would like to announce his passing from earth to heaven on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 61 years.

John enjoyed his 26 years at Lake Medical Imaging. He loved working with his fellow employees and sharing the word of God. He was a faithful member of Whitney Baptist Church and served as a mission treasurer for 25 years. John loved his pastor and his church family. John’s life greatly blessed and touched many lives in his daily walk with Christ Jesus and he loved sharing the word of God with everyone.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara Stroney of 19 years, by his mother, two brothers, two sisters, nieces and nephews, four stepdaughters, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Visitation service will be held at Beyers Funeral Home Chapel, 1123 W. Main St., Leesburg, FL 34748 on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m.

A Funeral service will be held in honor of John S. Stroney at Whitney Baptist Church, 32630 N. Whitney Road, Leesburg, FL 34748 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. Graveside service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the families’ request donations be made to: Whitney Baptist Church Missions Fund, 32630 N. Whitney Road, Leesburg, FL 34748.
