New appliances stolen from home in Ocala Ridge

New appliances were reportedly stolen from a home on Wednesday in Ocala Ridge.

A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence located on NW 59th Ave. in reference to a residential burglary with a grand theft. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised that his house that is being built was burglarized.

The victim arrived at the house earlier on Wednesday and noticed that the refrigerator and microwave, which had just been delivered a few days ago, were missing.
