Carol Baker

Carol Baker, 100, of Oxford, Florida, went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2018 at South Campus Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Leesburg, Florida. Carol was born on September 15, 1917 in Lynchburg, Virginia to her parents Benjamin and Katie Howard.

She had worked as a Manager in the Restaurant Industry and was of the Christian faith. She moved to Oxford, Florida from Oak Island, North Carolina and prior to that had lived in Colonial Beach, Virginia. She loved to be surrounded by her loving family. SHE DEFINITELY LIVED HER LIFE HER WAY!

She had three children, Patricia Petratos of Oxford, FL and Bonnie Baker Pincus of Rockville, MD and Chris Petratos (deceased); three grandchildren: Gina Williams, Victoria Gardiner and Brad Herson; five great-grandchildren: Britney Himmelfarb, Ava Rose Williams, Tommy Hamilton, Timmy Hamilton and D.J. Wilson; two great-great-grandchildren: Peyton Hamilton and Jacob Wilson.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at a later date.
