The Villages of Southern Oaks Phase 5A site plan on Tuesday won the blessing of a special magistrate in Wildwood.
The site plan, put forth by The Villages Land Company LLC, will next go before the Wildwood Commission for its approval.
Phase 5A of the massive development will be located on 203 acres on County Road 468E, across from Continental Country Club.
An extension of Morse Boulevard will slice through the residential areas of Phase 5A. A healthy stretch of multi-modal path will run parallel to the Morse Boulevard extension.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Villages of Southern Oaks would include up to 26,590 homes on 8,059 acres on both sides of the Florida Turnpike.
