Thomas Burt Schofield, born July 5, 1940, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 in The Villages, Florida. He went peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Wilma Schofield, his two brothers, Richard and Skip, his sister, Ellen, and his second wife, Cleanne. He is survived by his wife, Diana, his children, Ellen (Wayne) Butler, Kim (Kenneth) Vanderpool, James (Cheryl) Schofield, Anthony (Elizabeth) Schofield, and their mother, Phyllis (George) Mosher. His grandchildren, Lisa, Kenny Michael, Jake, Nikki, Kami, Allie, Ethan, Hailey, and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Robert, Zarriah, Hannah, Kenzie, Mason, Maddy, Jax and Lily. He always wore a smile, and his laugh could be heard from miles away. His beloved pet Dolly will miss him terribly.
He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed fishing and everything John Wayne! His children and grandchildren will miss his joking personality most of all, and will forever cherish the memories they made as a family.
