Oleg ‘Alek’ Shmeikhilman

Oleg “Alek” Shmeikhilman, 65, of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018.

He was a real Mench, a Rock, Provider, Defender, Lover, True Brother, Son, Father and Second to None Husband. Alek was born on July 13, 1950 in Kalinkovichi and immigrated to the United States on May 8, 1992 from Odessa, Russia USSR. He was a welder in the construction industry. Everyone loved him, including animals and was the greatest human being you would want to meet.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years Yevgenia Shmeikhilman; daughter Svetlana Burgohy (husband Harvey); best friend who was like a sister Patti Gates Edmondson; and his most beloved puppy, Petey.

A Traditional Jewish Graveside Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida. Date and time is pending.
