A Water Oak man was arrested after a liquor run at Sam’s Club in Lady Lake.
Michael Joseph Bracco, 53, who lives at 611 Sycamore Square at the 55+ community in Lady Lake, entered the store on May 23 and while purchasing alcohol, made rude comments to the clerk, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
He boasted that he shouldn’t be in the store, as he had been banned the previous night. Bracco left and the clerk notified her manager.
The manager provided to law enforcement video surveillance of Bracco in the store. The manager confirmed a trespass order against Bracco was in place.
Bracco showed up Tuesday at the Lady Lake Police Department, but claimed he did not know there was a warrant out for his arrest.
He was arrested on a charge of trespass after warning and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $500 bond.
