A Lady Lake man was arrested on a drunk driving charge after ignoring a stop sign when pulling out of the RaceTrac service station.
Pierre Alix Perrault, 51, at 8:15 p.m. Friday was leaving the parking lot of the service station on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Lady Lake when his white KIA soul did not stop at a stop sign, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
It appeared Perrault had been drinking and the deputy spotted a Natural Ice beer laying on the passenger seat.
Perrault failed field sobriety exercises and provided breath samples that registered .295 and .297 blood alcohol content.
He was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence and booked on $2,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
