Community Development District 10 approves budget with 5 percent increase

The Community Development District 10 Board of Supervisors on Thursday preliminarily approved a $3.4 million budget, which marks a 5 percent increase over the previous year.

The increase in the 2018-19 budget is $156,919.

The increase in CDD 10’s budget can be attributed to rising costs for the Project Wide Advisory Committee, noted District Budget Director Barbara Kays. PWAC discussed its budget earlier this week.

The good news for residents of CDD 10 is that there will no increase in next year’s maintenance assessment rate. The difference in the budget will come out of working capital.

Final approval for the CDD 10 budget is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. Sept. 10 at the District Office at Lake Sumter Landing.
