Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks and Lake County School Board Member Sandy Gamble are inviting the public to attend an upcoming community outreach meeting.
Titled Coffee & Conversations, the meeting will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Lake County Animal Shelter, 28123 County Road 561 in Tavares.

Parks regularly hosts Coffee & Conversations meetings to provide a convenient opportunity for residents to speak one-on-one with officials regarding various topics. Those attending will have the opportunity to learn about shelter operations and its recent no-kill success. And they’ll enjoy the chance to meet the adoptable shelter pets.
The Lake County Animal Shelter provides for public safety and animal welfare, promotes responsible pet ownership, reunites lost pets with their families and helps people select a new furry friend. The shelter is the countywide receiving facility for housing strays, animals in quarantine and unwanted domestic animals.
