Cindy Laraine Clark, 55, of the Villages of Parkwood, was arrested in March on a warrant charging her with felony welfare fraud.

Clark earned $133,191 in wages between Sept. 25, 2015 and Dec. 30, 2016 at her job at Amedisys Holdings LLC in The Villages, owner of Amedisys Home Health headquartered at Lake Sumter Landing, according to an affidavit from the Florida Department of Financial Services Division of Public Assistance Fraud.

Clark indicated to the Department of Children and Families that she was not employed, the affidavit said.

Last week in Sumter County Court, Clark was permitted to enter into a pre-trial diversion program. If she completes the terms of the program, the fraud case will be dismissed.
