Fred passed away on July 16, 2018 leaving behind his one true love, his wife of 57 years, Carol Goldman.

Together they had a daughter Deborah Schwencke (Ed) and a son Jeffrey Goldman (Sharon). He leaves all of his love, wit, and wisdom to his family who includes his brother Peter Goldman (Anna), and Michael Goldman. Fred’s grandchildren include Jack, Robert, Samantha, Nicholas, Dan, Erin, and Lucy. All benefited from Fred’s loving wisdom, and always from his fun loving teasing.

Fred was a proud retiree from the New York State Police where he proudly served for over 26 years. The many true friendships forged there continue to this day. Fred met and kept friends from every aspect of his life. He thanks every one of them for the role they have played enriching his wonderful life.

Memorial service to be held on Thursday July 19, 2018 at 3 p..m at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake.

The family requests that remembrances be made to the Trooper Foundation or a charity of their choice.
