A shirtless man was arrested after disrupting a Sunday service at a church in The Villages.
Charles O’Neal Andrews, 25, of Fruitland Park, entered St. Timothy Catholic Church shortly after 10 a.m. and attempted to use the restroom, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department. An officer working a security detail at the church attempted to make contact with Andrews whose “loud obscene outburst” disrupted churchgoers as they were praying, the report said.
Andrews was arrested for breaching the peace and was booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
