Popular entertainer at Villages town squares booked early Saturday morning at jail

A longtime Villages entertainer who performed at Spanish Springs Town Square on Friday night has been jailed in Marion County.

Mark Seymour, 52, who many have seen perform throughout Florida’s Friendliest Hometown over the years, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with domestic battery. He was booked at the Marion County Jail at 4:29 a.m. and initially was being held without bond.
