Despite rain being forecast, there was only love and blue skies in the air during Tim and Bonnie Taber’s special day.

Tim and Bonnie Taber were wed on Aug. 4 at the Village of Fenney Recreation Center.

The newlywed couple, who recently moved to The Village of Fenney after living in Antrim Dells, tied the knot outside of the Fenney Recreation Center in front of friends and family on Aug. 4.

The couple recited their vows underneath the oaks in front of a few dozen of their closest friends and family.

Like many of their neighbors in The Villages, Tim and Bonnie have friends and family scattered all over the United States. Both from the Midwest, much of the family made the trek from Michigan and Ohio, with others traveling from Utah and Arizona.

Like any good wedding, the friends and family of the bride and groom in all stepped up to make the day go off without a hitch: The maid of honor prepared the catering for the wedding, one friend and colleague performed the entertainment, another procured and prepared the venue, and one even performed the ceremony.
