Cillane Carol Beauchamp

A 34-year-old Summerfield woman who failed to pay her traffic tickets was arrested after she was pulled over on U.S. 301 in Oxford.

Cillane Carol Beauchamp had been in a blue Nissan utility vehicle at 5:43 p.m. Thursday and it was determined she was driving on a suspended license, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Beauchamp, who has had multiple suspensions for failure to pay traffic fines, admitted she knew her license was suspended.

During the traffic stop, Beauchamp had been observed attempting to conceal pieces of tinfoil in between the center console and driver’s seat, the arrest report indicated. It was determined to be drug related.

She was arrested on charges of driving while license suspended and possession of drug equipment. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

Beauchamp had been arrested earlier this year at Wal-Mart in Summerfied.
