A 66-year-old Fruitland Park man was killed early Friday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Lake County.
John Faso was pronounced dead by the Medical Examiner at the scene of the crash.
Faso had been at the wheel of a 2003 Chevy pickup at 5:40 a.m. on County Road 33 when a 2014 GMC pickup driven by 26-year-old Christian Spade of Brooksville, which was crossing the road, drove directly into the path of Faso’s pickup truck, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Faso’s pickup overturned as a result of the collision.
Spade suffered minor injuries and was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center.
