Marguerite P. Wiseman, 93, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Jackson Heights, New York and later moved to Syosset, New York where she raised her family.
She was the President and founder of The Rosary Society at St. Edward’s R.C. Church. She relocated to Stuart, Florida in 1988 and was an avid golfer at Willoughby Country Club. In 2015 she moved to The Villages, Florida.
Survivors include her son Thomas Wiseman (Christine); daughters Marguerite Denise Wiseman and Karen Jahnke (Robert); many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John Wiseman.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5 – 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6 p.m., located at Hiers-Baxley Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, Florida 32162. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11 a.m, located at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 5323 East County Road 462, Wildwood, Florida 34785.
Interment at Calverton National Cemetery, Long Island, New York will be held at a later date.
