Eva V. Mills, 83, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Monday, November 26, 2018. Mrs. Mills was born July 3, 1935 in Trinidad, CO to Daniel J. and Lucy (Martinez) Vigil.
She moved here in 1961 from San Francisco, CA and had retired as a teacher’s aid from the Sumter County School Board. Eva was a member of the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Oxford and was a master gardener.
Survivors include her children, Barbie & John Shaw of Summerfield, Jessie & Jeanette Mills of Old Town and David & Tawnia Mills of St. Petersburg Beach; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe C. Mills; 2 granddaughters, Jessica Mills and Sarah Mills and 12 siblings.
Visitation will be 1 – 2 p.m .with the funeral service at 2 p.m., Friday, November 30, 2018 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will be in Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford.
