Mary Catherine Hopper

Mary (Katy) Catherine Hopper of Wildwood, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on December 10, 2018. She was born October 17, 1934, in Croton Falls, New York to the late Edward Glesky and Mary Coviello.

Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Everett Hopper, she is survived by her daughters, Martha Miller and Stefani Heidenthal, Stepdaughters Deborah Peloso, husband John; Patricia Sheppard, husband John; Shelley Quintano, husband (the late) Dr. Robert Quintano; Kelly Ardovino; and her 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, whom she held a deep love for.

Katy attended Purdy’s High School, New York and attended Cosmetology School and was a successful business owner of Village Vanity in Croton Falls and Tropic Trend Hair Salon, in Bradenton, Florida. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoyed her passion for gardening.

The family will welcome guests at her home, 1 Lazy Hollow, Wildwood, Florida on Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 1 – 4 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital.
