America facing an immigration invasion

To the Editor:

Thomas Sowell said, ”The first responsibility of any government is to protect the people already in the country. Even in this age of an entitlement mentality, no one in a foreign country is entitled to be in America if the American people don’t want them here.”
In 1965 our government set an immigration stage that damages our Republic by encouraging an unrelenting Third World invasion of immigrants. Approximately 90 percent of legal immigrants in the past 50 years are from Third World countries.
Sowell also said, “The illusion that you can take in large numbers of people from fundamentally different cultures, without jeopardizing your own culture-and everything it depends on-should have been dispelled by many counter productive social consequences in Europe, even aside from the fatal dangers of terrorists.”
The final nail in our immigration invasion coffin is our welfare policies and practices. We are exacerbating our attraction problem to Third World countries by not only offering freedom, but freedom that pays!  Those that swear an oath to protect us, need to do so.
