All Villagers Red Hatters are invited to a special Valentine’s Day luncheon.
The Feb. 14 event, which costs $20 per person, will be held at the Savannah Center from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A buffet lunch will be provided by Hacienda Catering that will include salad, tea sandwiches and dessert.
Four Red Hat vendors will be on-site for those wishing to shop for various items. And members are encouraged to make Valentine’s cards to hand out to their Red Hat sisters.
Special entertainment will be provided by Louie Fortunato, who has opened for the Tokens and Johnny Maestro. Fortunato grew up in Brooklyn and spent years entertaining audiences up and down the East Coast with his group, Sentimental Reasons.
After moving to Florida, Fortunato also performed with The Belairs and TKO (Totally Kool Oldies), a group that specializes in the close harmony sound of the 1950s. And he thoroughly enjoys performing songs from some of his favorite singers, like Engelbert Humperdinck, Bobby Darin, Elvis and Jimmy Roselli, to name a few.
