Sumter County sheriff’s detectives are seeking assistance in the search for a man who stole shoes and clothing from a local Bealls store.
The man entered the store on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake at 4:32 p.m. Jan. 23 and selected clothing and shoes and then left without paying for the merchandise.
The white male was of medium build with a half sleeve tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing a grey T-shirt and khaki pants. He was later seen entering a grey SUV with a broken back window.
