June D’Errico

June D’Errico, 63, of The Villages, passed away March 27, 2019, peacefully in the middle of the night.

She was born to the late Philip and Betty Catania, Jun. 22, 1955, in Brooklyn, NY. and graduated from John Jay High School.

She married the late Nicholas D’Errico in 1983, and they lived together in Brooklyn for thirty two years and after she was widowed relocated to The Villages. June is survived by two children: Michael D’Errico, of Clermont, FL; and Nicholas J. D’Errico, of Brooklyn, NY., one grandchild: Zachary D’Errico as well as six siblings: Maria Ouellette, Phylis Coles, Alice Misciagno, Alfred Catania, Philip Catania and Thomas Catania.

June was a devoted mother and homemaker. She cared deeply about her children and worked to provide the best possible lives for them. Her love and appreciation for God was the pillar of her home. She was proud of Michael and Nicholas as children as well as into adulthood and cherished all of their achievements.

Although we never expected her to leave us so soon we can remember her as a loving individual who cared deeply for others and was always looking to help in one way shape or form. Her giving character always stood out and was appreciated by many.

While June struggled with cancer for six years she never gave up or let her faith waiver.

Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Lady Lake, FL.
