The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Division is asking for the public’s help in a possible hit-and-run crash.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Division is seeking information about a possible hit-and-run crash last Saturday, March 23 involving a pedestrian. The incident possibly involved a two-tone blue-and-silver early 1990s Ford F-150 (like the one pictured above) at E County Road 470 and County Road 535.

On Saturday, March 23 at shortly after noon, a pedestrian was possibly struck by a two-tone blue-and-silver early 1990s Ford F-150 (like the one pictured) at E County Road 470 and County Road 535.

Witnesses reported that the truck continued south on CR 535 toward S U.S. 301. During that same time, there was significant traffic in the area of E CR 470 and S U.S. 301 because of an event.
