The VHA, in conjunction with The Villages Cord Cutters Club, will present a workshop to explain from A to Z the process and information you will need to effectively reduce your current cable services bill. It will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday April 8 at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center.
Kevin Cappallo and his team of experts will provide an overview of cord cutting, discuss ways to transform from current providers to a variety of legal alternatives, including the type of equipment, streaming devices and streaming providers that will be needed. They will explain everything from the basics, for those of you that know little or nothing, to more advanced topics like antennas, internet providers, streaming devices, streaming services, and time permitting, even the upcoming 5G transformation. And even more important, they will be available to answer questions. They’ll also help you understand the evolving marketplace for entertainment alternatives like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Sling TV, Hulu, Roku, YouTube TV and others.
This presentation is only open to VHA members. Bring your current VHA membership card.
For those of you that have not yet joined, there will be a membership table at the door. For additional information, contact Art Donnelly, AVP VHA South Region, (631) 792-2203.
