Oakland Hills man arrested after allegedly stealing children’s bicycles from neighbors

An Oakland Hills man was arrested after allegedly stealing children’s bicycles from his neighbor’s carport.

Justin Harland Stewart, 39, who lives at 7591 County Road 109G, was arrested Saturday at the home from which he allegedly stole the bicycles. Stewart admitted that he sold the bicycles on the LetGo phone application, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The Bowling Green, Ky. native, who has previously gone by the name Justin Cullom, is on probation through 2033 following his conviction on a charge of trafficking in stolen property. He also has two previous theft convictions in Leesburg and a 2000 conviction in Boone County, Ky. on a charge of receiving stolen property over $300.

He was arrested on a charge of theft and booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center on the probation violation.
