June Wharton

June K. Wharton, age 85, of Lady Lake, FL passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. She was born in Talladega, AL on February 16, 1934. June was a homemaker. She moved to Lady Lake from Laurel, DE in 1999. June was a member of the Oxford Assembly of God.

She is survived by daughters Rhonda L. Roach of Wildwood, FL, Lorrie Annette Broyles of Lady Lake, FL and Lisa Wharton Dennis of Willards, MD; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry T. Wharton who passed away in 2003 and her daughter Catherine Ann Flowers who passed away in 2017.

A funeral service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11am. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place beside her husband at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice.
